Everybody knows
It sucks to grow up
And everybody does
Its so weird to be back here.
Let me tell you what
The years go on and
Were still fighting it, were still fighting it
You’ll try and try and one day you’ll fly
Away from me
great artist, great song that always strikes a chord in my heart when i hear it … ’nuff said.

•03.07.2009 • Leave a Commentthere’s snow sticking on the ground tonight but thank god its not as bad as our previous snowstorms this year. but anyway i’m off. my friend has a great subaru AWD and i’m taking my old car, sexy beast (aka land rover) and do some recreational fun in the snow with some friends. plus someone acquired some vodka and a few half-gals of orange juice to keep us nice and warm afterwards. so while i’m having fun outside i’ll leave you with this:

don’t you wanna feel my bones on your bones
•03.05.2009 • 4 Commentsi was driving home from work tonight and everything was just a-ok. it was thursday and i have tomorrow off so that means i have a three day weekend ahead of me. the season is slowly making its transition from winter to spring, its not dark as it usually is around 6 pm (which is the time that i’m usually on the road heading home). everything just clicked and then the killers came on my iPhone filling my car with the first few notes of their song, bones, and everything felt good.
i always love listening and singing along to the killers when i’m driving. their music is just soo thematic, so full of emotion and filled with those high notes that i know i can’t hit but by god i love to try. while i have loved them ever since i heard “mr. brightside” the very first killers song that i secretly rocked out to alone when driving would have to be “all these things that i’ve done”.
they kind of remind me of the band, queen, to be honest with you.
so lemme ask you guys .. who do you secretly rock out to?
a golden nugget!

•03.04.2009 • Leave a Commentholy shit this is like my dream come true .. music, fashion and pop culture all smooshed together in one for the adidas travelling party. watch the video its like experiencing one of the craziest parties i’ve ever been times 10. its got skateboarders, graffitti artists, the plastic solo cups, people dancing, hooking up and acting crazy and… vintage italian scooters!!. i spied russell simmons, 1/2 of the run dmc crew (well it was supposed to be 1/3 but the dj died), katy perry clowning around with jeremy scott, david beckham, young jeezy, missy elliot, those cool japanese DJ twins, red man and method man, estelle and KG.
